Upon completion of your home you will receive the Home Owners Maintenance booklet giving you all of the information you need to take care your new home and help you understand what is covered under your warranty.

Know that you are taken care of, whether purchasing a spec or custom home from us. Our team includes a designated Service Manager who will take of your after possession service needs. With our commitment to both quality and our Home Warranty Program, you can relax knowing you have someone in your corner to uphold the standards we expect of ourselves, our suppliers, and our trades. It’s not always possible to exceed everyone’s expectations and for that reason we place a high level of expectation on ourselves and that keeps us in business.

Prior to possession, and during the first year of occupancy in your new Heritage Lane Builders home, we will schedule the following:

1. Pre-Possession Meeting – shortly before possession, our New Home Service Our Service Manager will carefully review the home with you, together we will outline and note any deficiencies or touch-ups needing to be completed. We will also discuss the navigation of what happens on day of possession. Prompt follow-up on these items will be our priority, as our goal is to have your new home complete and ready for occupancy upon possession date.

2. Possession Meeting – on day of possession, our New Home Service Manager will meet you at your home at a mutually convenient time. Together we will review any noted items that were to be touched up and confirm your satisfaction. Upon this step, together we will review New Home Warranty documentation, document final meter readings and hand over your keys to your new home.

3. Year Service – as your 1st year warranty period approaches, the 1 year warranty inspection will be performed at a mutually convenient time. Once again, our Service Technician will ensure a prompt follow-up of all sub-trades. The 1 year service visit is to note and schedule drywall touch-ups such as drywall screw pops or items needing to be touched due to the home acclimating over the course of the 1st year. Our team of dedicated painters will repair and paint these areas in a timely manner. In the event that you may have an emergency situation in between our scheduled service appointments, we provide 24-hour emergency call numbers for mechanical issues. Heritage Lane Builders provides home-owner peace of mind, knowing that communication and availability of your builder is key in retaining a close working relationship in the home-buying experience.
